| Problem | Starting work | Example check |
|---|---|---|
| Unclear service information | Service pages, answers and contact routes | Customers can find scope and the next step |
| Scattered enquiries | Sources, owners and status | Sample records have an owner |
| Unclear campaign outcomes | Separate clicks, enquiries and opportunities | Reports use consistent definitions |
Choose a business problem first
Map how a customer discovers your business, finds service information, makes an enquiry and receives follow-up. Understanding the current journey is more useful than starting with a tool comparison.
If visitors rarely enquire, review service information and contact routes. If enquiries sit on separate phones, start with records, owners and status. These are illustrative situations, not measured client results.
Prepare a one-page brief
Describe target customers, key services, the main operational problem, current tools and an accountable owner. Use one or two prepared examples to show repeated entry, missed steps or gaps in measurement.
Choose a result that can be checked: every received enquiry has an owner, or every service page explains the next step. A broad aim such as “be more efficient” needs an acceptance measure.
Implement in stages
A starting sequence is website and enquiry foundations, connected records and follow-up, then ongoing content, advertising or automation. An established business can start with its most important gap.
Agree deliverables, inputs, acceptance checks and ownership for each stage. Pilot using test data, then document permissions, handover and exception handling.
Separate the cost components
Distinguish one-off delivery from recurring costs. Pages, languages, content preparation, data migration, integrations, design revisions, training and maintenance all affect effort.
Media spend, domain, hosting, CRM subscriptions and WhatsApp platform or messaging fees should be explicit. A single total is difficult to compare until accounts, data and integration feasibility have been reviewed.
Compare proposals on the same brief
Compare functions and deliverables alongside price. Ask about revisions, account ownership, exports, source files, support and acceptance checks.
When the budget is uncertain, request a staged proposal around the priority problem. Separate essential functions from later work so each commitment has a clear purpose.
Keep the measures distinct
Search impressions, website clicks, WhatsApp interactions, received enquiries and qualified opportunities describe different steps. Opening a message draft does not confirm that it was sent or that a sale occurred.
Use complete comparable periods and record launch and content-review dates. Search Console measures search performance, GA4 measures site interactions, and the team confirms enquiries and opportunities.
